How will this petite caftan fit me?

It’s hard to gauge how a petite caftan will fit,  especially if they’re just labelled as long or short. so I’ve measured them all for you, and included photos of what each length looks like on an actual petite person.  I’m 4’11” (150 cms) tall, and here are some examples of where different lengths fall on my frame. Depending on whether you’re shorter or taller than me, you can figure out where each petite caftan will fall on you. Hope this helps.

Petite length blue caftan

29″ caftan falls mid thigh.

I'm wearing white underneath so you can see how sheer this is. Wear it over a cute bikini, or add a slip for night time glamour.

35″ caftan falls just above my knees.

This 50" long animal print georgette caftan will graze the toes of a 5ft tall petite.

50″ caftan is just above my feet at the front, but the sides sweep the floor.

Petite Caftan Fabrics

This first batch of petite caftans are made of viscose georgette and viscose crepe. Both are ultra light materials, perfect for hot tropical weather. The georgette tends to be a little more sheer than the crepe. You might like to add a slip under the georgette if wearing it as a dress and not a swim suit cover up. (Or not)

Viscose fabric is a soft and lightweight fabric manufactured from a plant-based material called cellulose. Viscose is typically made from woody plants, such as trees and bamboo.

Viscose has many of the desirable qualities of more luxurious fabrics. It is used to make clothing because it is breathable, drapes well, is highly absorbent and does not trap body heat. Because viscose is made from renewable plants, it is frequently cited as an environmentally friendly fabric, particularly when bamboo is its source.

I will also be adding caftans made from other materials here eventually, as I personally love silk and cotton as well.
